| Swimming at Walden Lake
Walden Lake Swim Team
Walden Lake Swim Team (WLST) is a competitive swim program for boys and girls, ages 4 – 18. We are primarily a developmental team, emphasizing stroke improvement and competitive swimming skills. We also strive to provide a more challenging program for advanced swimmers. Through practice and team participation, swimmers work toward mastering the four competitive strokes. The strokes used in competition are: butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke and freestyle. The major emphasis is on skill development, team participation, building self-confidence and self-discipline in a fun, friendly and family oriented environment.
WLST Spring 2010 Registration
Swim team registration for the 2010 Spring season is currently taking place. Registration is open to all children ages four and up who can swim the length of a twenty five meter pool. All levels of skill are welcome. For a complete registration package please email a request to Melissa at mdvoelker@tampabay.rr.com or call her at 918-4394 for more info. Also visit the swim team's website at www.waldenlakeswimteam.com. Feel free to invite your friends and relatives even if they are not members of Walden Lake Golf and Country Club. For the convenience of non-members, seasonal membership or facility fee information will be available at registration.
